ISSS – NORMI™ IAQ STRATEGY, SAMPLING & SOLUTIONS
The NORMI™ IAQ Strategy, Sampling & Solutions is the intermediate assessor class that details
the process of creating a sampling strategy, determining which samples and how many to take and
designing a solutions protocol based on the IAQ Profile of that specific environment.
This course is designed to dig deep into the IAQ/Mold Assessment process and is especially
helpful for Certified Mold Assessors who want to take a more wholistic approach to inspecting
indoor environments. This course qualifies for fourteen (14) hours of continuing education toward
the Florida DBPR MRSA/MRSR License.
“In this two-day class,” reports Doug Hoffman, Executive Director for NORMI, “I will be
explaining the process of sampling indoor environments. Whether commercial or residential, the
student will understand the process that is used every time to develop a strategy for what
sampling media to use, the sampling process of each technique with hands-on participation, and
the sanitization solutions available for lowering microbial loads.”
